A licensing catalogue for a documentary distributor
A global documentary distribution agency's catalogue — where a film isn't something you watch, it's something you license.

About the project
What we built
ROCO Films distributes documentaries worldwide. That makes its site a rights catalogue rather than a streaming service: the people browsing it are programmers, educators, broadcasters, and festival organisers deciding whether to license a film, not viewers deciding what to watch tonight.
We built it in WordPress around that distinction. Every film page carries what a licensing decision actually needs — the poster with its festival laurels visible, the director's credit, a synopsis with real substance rather than a logline, and a trailer — and then routes to the two things a professional visitor wants: licensing options, or hosting a screening. That screening prompt rides along as a fixed tab, available from anywhere on the site.
Commerce sits underneath it. The catalogue carries a cart, so licensing isn't a contact form and a wait — it's a transaction the site can actually complete.
The identity does a lot of work here too. ROCO's four-square logo in magenta, orange, and red gives an otherwise editorial, text-heavy catalogue a strong anchor, and the layout stays deliberately quiet so film artwork — which is the real merchandising — carries the colour.
